BY-LAW NUMBER 463-1
RATE FOR WATER SHUT OFF AND WATER TURNED ON
WHEREAS: A by-law of the Municipality of Shawville deems it advisable to amend by-law number 463
WHEREAS: Councillor Richard Armitage gives notice of motion at the meeting of August 22, 2023;
WHEREAS: The Council of the Municipality of Shawville enacts the amendments as follows:
WHEREAS: When water is requested to be shut off and turned on, there is a form that must signed;
THAT: it is here enacted that a there is a fee of $25.00 for water shut off and a fee of $25.00 for water turned on;
THAT: except if outside regular working hours (Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and holidays) the flat rate of $180.00 per employee will be charged;
THAT: should work be required other than the closing and opening, the rate is $60.00 per hour except if outside regular working hours (Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and holidays) the flat rate of $180.00 per employee will be charged;
THEREFORE it is moved by Richard Armitage, that the council of the Municipality of Shawville authorizes that Draft By-Law Number 463-1 was read and adopted this 26th day of September 2023 and will come into force according to law.

TARIF POUR COUPURE D’EAU ET OUVERTURE D’EAU
ALORS QUE: Un règlement de la Municipalité de Shawville juge opportun de modifier le règlement numéro 463
ATTENDU QUE : le conseiller Richard Armitage donne avis de motion à la séance du 22 août 2023;
ATTENDU QUE : Le conseil de la Municipalité de Shawville édicte les modifications suivantes :
ALORS QUE: Lorsqu’il est demandé de couper et d’ouvrir l’eau, il y a un formulaire qui doit être signé ;
CE QUE: il est ici décrété qu’il y a des frais de 25,00 $ pour la coupure d’eau et des frais de 25,00 $ pour l’ouverture de l’eau ;
QUE: sauf en dehors des heures régulières de travail (du lundi au vendredi de 8h00 à 16h00 et jours fériés) le tarif forfaitaire de 180,00 $ par employé sera facturé ;
QUE: si des travaux sont requis autres que la fermeture et l’ouverture, le taux est de 60,00 $ l’heure sauf si en dehors des heures régulières de travail (du lundi au vendredi de 8 h à 16 h et les jours fériés) le taux forfaitaire de 180,00 $ par employé sera être chargé;
EN CONSÉQUENCE il est proposé par Richard Armitage, que le conseil de la Municipalité de Shawville autorise que le projet de règlement numéro 463-1 soit lu et adopté ce 26e jour de septembre 2023 et entrera en vigueur conformément à la loi.
