TO AMEND THE ZONING BY-LAW NUMBER 417
WHEREAS: The Planning Advisory Committee has received requests from local Main St. Store front Owners. Asking to protect the commercial store front along Main St. in the commercial areas.
WHEREAS: the Planning Advisory Committee has recommended that it is advisable to amend the Zoning By-Law Number 417 to restrict:
Main floor along Main Street in Zone CM-1 to be restricted to Commercial and Services Group usage
WHEREAS: Richard Armitage brings in a notice of motion on April 11, 2023
WHEREAS: Under CM1 an addition under usages specifically allowed
f) Main floor commercial usage

Zoning Bylaw
THEREFORE: it is moved by __________, to amend the zoning By-Law Number 417 to restrict Zone CM-1 the Main floor Commercial and Services usage. The zoning amendment will include the Group 2 usage for every lot within the zone CM-1.
The present bylaw shall come into force according to Law.
By-Law Number 459 was adopted as read at a regular meeting of Council held March 26, 2024 and will come into force according to law.

ATTENDU QUE: Le comité consultatif d’urbanisme a reçu des demandes de propriétaires locaux de magasins de la rue Main. Demander de protéger la devanture du magasin commercial le long de la rue Main dans les zones commerciales.
ATTENDU QUE: le Comité consultatif d’urbanisme a recommandé qu’il soit opportun de modifier le règlement de zonage numéro 417 pour restreindre :
Le rez-de-chaussée le long de la rue Main dans la zone CM-1 sera réservé à l’usage du groupe commercial et des services.
ATTENDU QUE: Richard Armitage présente un avis de motion le 11 avril 2023
ATTENDU QUE: Sous CM1 un ajout sous les usages spécifiquement autorisés

____-24 PAR CONSÉQUENT : il est proposé par __________, de modifier le règlement de zonage numéro 417 afin de restreindre la zone CM-1 à l’usage commercial et de services du rez-de-chaussée. La modification de zonage inclura l’usage du groupe 2 pour chaque lot de la zone CM-1.
Le présent règlement entrera en vigueur conformément à la loi.
Le règlement numéro 459 a été adopté tel que lu lors d’une séance ordinaire du conseil tenue le 26 mars 2023 et entrera en vigueur conformément à la loi.
