The Municipality of Shawville would like to inform residents that a new 4-way stop will soon be installed at the intersection of Princess Street and King Street sometime next week (Aug. 18-22)
Currently, stop signs are in place on Princess Street only. Once the new signs are installed, all directions will be required to stop at this intersection.
This change is being made to improve traffic safety for motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists. We encourage everyone to drive with caution and adjust to the new traffic pattern once it comes into effect.
