MUNICIPALITY OF SHAWVILLE

BY-LAW NUMBER 281-1

PENSION PLAN

WHEREAS: the Council deems it advisable to establish a pension plan for employees of the Corporation of the Village of Shawville;

WHEREAS: notice of motion has previously been given by

Brent Leach on November 14, 2013;

         THEREFORE: on a motion by Brent Leach, that the following by-law, bearing number 281-1 is adopted with the following changes in sections 3. Eligibility:  Carried by a vote of 5 to 1.

3. Eligibility

     All full-time and regular part-time employees will be eligible to enrol in the plan as of the first of the month coincident with of following the attainment of age 21 and that his or hers probation has been completed.  Participation is the plan is compulsory for eligible employees.

This By-Law shall come into force according to law.

        By-Law No. 281-1 was read and adopted on the 28th day of November and shall come into force according to law.
