THIRD AND FINAL DRAFT BY-LAW NUMBER 465

TO AMEND ZONING BY-LAW NUMBER 417

WHEREAS: the Planning Advisory Committee has received a request from Marian Schwartz and Maison PAJ for #0551-34-4869 and #0551-34-6550.

WHEREAS: Councillor Richard Armitage, brings in a notice of motion to amend zoning by-law number 417 in zone CM-7 and RE-8.  The zoning amendment will include Group 1- Dwelling Groups Medium density R2 and High density R3 – Class for these 2 zones.

WHEREAS: the Planning Advisory Committee has recommended that

it is advisable to amend by-law 417 to allow in the Zoning By-Law Number 417 the following:

Zone: CM-7

  1. Dwelling Groups

Low Density – Class R1

To also be included in:

1.  Dwelling Groups

    Medium Density – Class R2

    High Density – Class R3

Zone: RE-8

1.  Dwelling Groups

    Low Density – Class R1

    Medium Density – Class R2

To also be included in:

1.  Dwelling Groups

    High Density – Class R3

By-Law 417

Zoning Bylaw

WHEREAS: A public consultation meeting was held Monday

April 22nd, 2024.

WHEREAS: A Referendum registry was held on May 15th 2024, the minimum signatures of 12 required was not reached with receiving only 5 signatures against the project.

           Therefore: it is moved by Richard Armitage, and resolved that the Third and Final draft of By-Law Number 465 is amended as follows: in zone CM-7 and RE-8.  The zoning amendment will include Group 1- Dwelling Groups Medium density R2 and High density R3 – Class for these 2 zones.

Third and Final draft of By-Law number 465 was adopted as read at a regular meeting of Council held May 28 2024 will come into force according to law.
